Kansas Next Step 2010 Opportunities      What: Kansas Next Step would like to help you afford the unique and exciting opportunity of your choice.  Our goal is to provide financial assistance for camp fees and related expenses, such as traveling, registration fees, research projects, seminars, conferences, etc.     How: Fill out an application.  Choose which opportunity you would like to go to and provide us with information about both you and the opportunity.     When: The application should be sent in 2-4 months before funding is needed.  The Board meets the first Thursday of every month.  Applications need to be in our office one week prior to that date in order to be processed and included on the agenda for that meeting.   Who: All US students are eligible.    Value:  Up to $5000 for camp fees and additional expenses.  (Any inflated request will be denied.)    How you can help:  We are encouraging any interested student to apply.  We also are looking for people to help us with this campaign.  Students, parents, faculty, administrators, retirees, and other community members can volunteer as little as an hour or as much time as they can spare.       For more information: Visit www.kansasnextstep.org or call Deb Denning at 432-STEP (7837).         Kansas Next Step is a non-profit, educational organization.  Our mission is to provide a critical next step between students, ideas, possibilities and success.
